Our research** saw 4 in 10 South African travellers admit that paying for a holiday in 2022 will be harder than in previous years. The items featured in the Vacay Valuator are taken from those travellers told us they would be most willing to forego for a short period and include: eating out or ordering takeaways, buying new clothes and tickets to the cinema or live events. 43% of South African travellers also admitted they would be willing to save for up to 6 months for their 2022 holiday.
