Qatar Airways chk-in at Kolkata was absurd. I was delayed chk-in despite all verified travel docs as the chk-in supervisor had to speak to the shift manager. Having waited 30 minutes, I have no plausible explanation from the team other than there ticket did not have my profession (Sea-Farer) mentioned in the booking. The chk-in supervisor/ shift manager didn't professionally handle my return travel verification question. Knowing the reason of the delay/ wait is every passengers right and the staff should remain transparent about it. Qatar Flt (DOH/SEA) missed a complete snack service for Zone3 port side. Stbd side had a complete service. Instead of a service recovery and an immediate follow-up I was offered a bag of crisps & Kit-kat instead. Staff turned a cold shoulder. I dropped my luggage at SEA AS counter for drop-off. This was for my AS 67 connection to KTN. One piece made it on flt AS67 while the 2nd piece is still awaited, was assured AS 69 for the the same evening but the delivery of the luggage can only happen the afternoon following. Quite a series of incidents, very unlikely of Qatar/ (AS code-share). I am looking at some decent mileage at least for the inconvenience if not other modes of compensation. I shall leave it up to your evaluation.
