Wondering where to travel to get the best value for money this year? Or curious to know the best month to fly to keep costs down? We’ve crunched nearly 600,000 hours of flight searches to reveal all this and much more in the first South African Cheapflights Compass Report.

At a steady 29%, the UK is the most searched for destination by South Africans – more than double that of its closest competitor, the United States at 14%. Other popular destinations include Thailand, France and Italy.
