There was no car available. I went to two different branches after talking to customer service. Still nothing. I also paid $80 for insurance coverage that I never used.

Car was a little much for us. We didn’t want or need such a luxurious vehicle. We would have loved a family mini van and maybe not have to spend nearly 4 grand just so I can fit my whole family on wheels. Plus we were quoted in American Dollars so a lot of our spending money got depleted as soon as we picked up our rental. Which then affected our entire experience. This rental cost more than our flights and our accommodations. Yes it was a beautiful car, but it’s not at all what we wanted and it costed us far more than what I feel would be reasonable just so we could move around.

The experience was excellent. The individual I interacted with upon my arrival and departure from Fredericton was knowledgeable, amiable, and provided comprehensive answers to my inquiries. The sole discrepancy was the unexpected charge of $350.00 exceeding the initial quote during the vehicle reservation. While I anticipate a refund, the unexpected adjustment was nonetheless a surprise.

The estimate price when I did reservation is $46/day. I rent out the car 1 day, returned te car on time, with full tank of gas and no damage on the car body. But I was supprised when checking my credit card, you guys charged me $100/day in total. I have no receipt, no e receipt too. No explaination why the price is so high. I would NOT recommend this service to my friends next time!

TERRIBLE SERVICE. I had an incredibly disappointing experience with you that has completely turned me off from ever using their services again. From the moment I arrived to pick up the car, the customer service was disorganized, unhelpful, and downright rude. I encountered long wait times despite having a reservation, and the staff showed no urgency or concern for the delays or my situation.

I liked the upgrade and the drop-off procedure, however two days after the drop-off I got a phone call inquiring about my return date since Hertz had no records about my vehicle being returned. The car was not properly cleaned, windshield smudgy, seats full of stains. Nobody on hand at pick-up to explain the car features, i.e., no spare tire, how to release the parking break, how to open the hood, etc. The paperwork did not show the unlimited mileage, personnel ignorant, no intention to provide service.

He had no manners would not take the time to explain rules and regulations . i felt like he treated us like nobody’s and then got upset when we had a different insurance plan purchase, that we purchase on line .He just rushed us out . Has first time car rental customer it was my worst experience would not take the time for nothing . Will not deal with Hertz again thank you

Overall good. However I tried to pay the insurance at the time of booking when it would have been $13 but for no apparent reason that bit just didn't go through and then it was $37 at the airport for the exact same cover. Hence the score for value for money.

I showed up at the counter and was denied the rental because my licence said GDL even though I am out of the program. I under stand that it’s not in the control of the counter Agent however a pop up or notice while renting the card would be extremely helpful especially hen you are being denied a rental when you are already on vacation and have no other arrangements. Absolutely terrible!

Great vehicle and condition. Issue arose when I advised, a week before the conclusion of the contract, that I would like to change the drop off point to a town further north. The person behind the desk indicated it would mean “changing the whole contract” and got the distinct impression he could not bothered so simply suggested I drop it off at the desired location and pay a penalty for unauthorised drop off… Seemed pretty inefficient and costly. People at the alternate centre were very good on receiving the vehicle but not the best experience overall.

We rented one car and got a smaller one then drop off which was chosen online was not available on the day we went to drop it off and had no drop box to leave the car. No one was available with the number there to call and the online number from confirmation was no help at all. Thank goodness to the man who runs the garage next door showing up and helped up.

I was very disappointed with them. My credit card was canceled before my trip and they refused to accept alternative payments. The person was extremely unprofessional and didn't offer any assistance. I canceled my reservation and went over to the budget car rental who helped me without question and was super kind and helpful. I was very surprised as I have had good experiences at other locations but will never rent from this location again due to the unprofessional and rude representative.

Nice comfortable car that got us from A - B then to C and back to A again. However we we not told when pick the car up that each additional driver was $13 per day. The staff were not interested in discussing this when we dropped the car off. Be aware of this hidden cost. It's is the first time we have stuck having to pay for an additional driver
