|Jul 2023The gentleman checking me in was awesome! He helped me tremendously to finish up the process of renting our car. He turned what could have been a mishap on my part into a great experience renting a car. I would return.

|Jul 2023This was Avis at puerto Vallarta airport. Regular size car. The line was extremely slow and staff moved very slowly. Took an hour to get the car with only 1 person ahead of me. Price was ok but I declined insurance since my credit card and auto insurance policy cover the car. They insisted on putting a $4200 hold on my credit card in case there was any damage- even a scratch. Crazy. Won’t rent there again.

|Jun 2023Service was slow at pick up and drop off. Car was not clean.

|Apr 2023The insurance they tried to charge us was more than the rental rate for the car. We cancelled our reservation.

|Mar 2023The service was incredibly slow. Pick up took over 30 minutes and drop off was longer. The price was quoted in Canadian dollars but charged in American. Overall, very dissatisfied.

|Mar 2023I opted for the full coverage insurance and was told that the total would be $490. After returning the car, the total was $630. Not only was this place completely dishonest, they couldn't have been in any less of a hurry. Took us over an hour to get checked in and almost an hour to return the car.

|Dec 2021The rental agency , doesn't tell you the full price online. It's better to book direct from car rental agency only.

|Nov 2021This Payless/Budget counter in Puerto Vallarta felt like a complete scam. I ordered a Luxury SUV which was quite a bit more expensive then other cars. Upon arrival they did not have any SUVs in stock. They gave us a small car and discounted the cost a bit. They said they would deliver the SUV the next day. Towards the end of the next day they delivered a Kia Sorrento which is not a luxury SUV. When I asked about it they said they don't have any luxury SUVs. Upon return of the car they would not discount our rental any further. Basically I paid for a Luxury SUV but got a lower class car. It definitely felt like a scam. I will not be using this service in the future and will bring this up with Budget/Payless directly.

|Jul 2023Terrible! I booked a car online and when I went to pick it up, they charged me another $400. I will never use. rentalcars.com or kayak or your car again total scam.

|Feb 2023Europe car in Puerto Vallarta is definitely not worth it. I bought insurance together with my rental from kayak but they refused the insurance and wouldn’t let it go without me buying their insurance. I ended up walking over to Avis and renting a car with insurance for less money than just the insurance from Europe car.

|Jan 2023The whole process was a nightmare. It started by telling me the car I had booked wasn’t actually available (but only after I was supposed to pick up) then by prompting me to book a week later than I’d intended (I know, I should have triple checked), and then by saying my credit cards were not working despite the fact they have worked at every other rental provider and we’re not over the limit. Overall brutal experience I will seek to avoid in the future.

|Jan 2023When we arrived the car rental agency told us we needed to pay an additional 150% of the rental price that was already paid. We did not get a car as our budget did not allow for it. Seems like a total scam
