What is the best car rental company in LaVina?
Based on Cheapflights user feedback, the highest-rated car hire company in LaVina is Routes Car & Truck Rentals (rated 4.4/10 with 75 reviews). Enterprise Rent-A-Car (rated 7.6/10) is also highly rated by our users.
I liked that the facility was clean sandbar conditioned. I was unsatisfied by the predatory practices that force customers to purchase their insurance when you already have full coverage if it’s not with AAA or other carriers they like. I will never use an offsite rental company again to avoid being scammed.

Great car at a great price. However, when booking through 3rd party it should be much clearer that there are many things to consider beyond the wonderful price you see. Insurance, proof of declaration page needed at check in. The CC hold they need can be very high and not released in a timely manner. Also in Orlando the ez pass thingy is extra. There is a lot of good there so I wish these other details were better.

Mediocre|May 2025
They really push the extra car insurance despite me showing my declaration page of insurance they still charged me and then I complained to a manager, Fred, who was excellent and removed the charges, but you shouldn’t have to fight that hard. That’s why I gave mediocre reviews.

Poor|Nov 2024
I'm 100% sure I booked a car with no pre-payement (little bit more expensive), as I new I might have a driving license issue. Despite that KAYAK debited me on the spot at the reservation moment. My driving license issuewas confirmed and I could not change the booking to my wife name because prepaid. I ended booking another car !!! Very very bad experience so far! Let's see if after this message, I will receive a call?

The staff were very deceiving and tried to take us for all the money they could. We got there later than our pick up time so they cancelled our reservation and said they “only” had an upgrade. They also said the money we paid to you was gone and they did not receive it so they had to do another reservation and we had to pay in full for that. They said you guys didn’t pay them and we lost that money. I was extremely upset about that. Then, we declined insurance coverage because we have rental insurance included in our own coverage. They said we had to get their insurance because we didn’t bring our declarations page with us. That was another $88 that we had to pay. You guys did not make us aware of that which cost us. If we had known they would require that, we would have brought it, but we have never had to do that in the past. On top of the $130 we paid to you, they charged us another $230. Our hands were tied as we had 5 kids waiting and needed to get to our hotel. After our trip, I spoke with the manager there and they refunded some of it but we still had to pay more than we should have which was very upsetting.
