When is the best time to fly Philadelphia?
Peak Season:
Summer months of June to August are the peak season, which experiences temperatures on average between 21 and 29 degrees Celsius. The pleasant weather makes for a great time to explore the city, but bear in mind this season attracts the most crowds. As this is the most popular time, accommodation and flights to Philadelphia will be more expensive.
Off Peak Season
The off-peak season starts in autumn (September – November) and although temperatures are mild, winter soon arrives, which is cold in Philadelphia, with temperatures generally below freezing. If you can brave the chilly weather, however, you're likely to find fewer crowds, discounted hotels and cheap flights to Philadelphia during this time.
Shoulder Season:
Spring can still be busy although the crowds will be smaller than the peak months. This can be a great time to book a holiday, as the weather will usually be around 1 to 10 degrees in March and 10 to 21 degrees in May, and prices will generally be slightly cheaper than during the summer months.
