This airline is horrible. They allowed my wife who has a Mexican passport to board a flight from Mauritius to Johannesburg, South Africa without notifying or checking if she needed a visa. This resulted in her being in holding for over 24 hours without food or water and cost over $2000 in expenses to leave the country after they threatened to put her in a holding cell for 3 days and fly her back to Mauritius completely ruining our travel plans. The airline didn’t even reimburse us for our flights and was charged $1200 by immigration in South Africa. We missed a Safari we were looking forward to for months and they handled it so poorly. While detaining my wife several of the security guards asked for her help to speak Spanish to other customers in similar situations because even though it’s an international airport her and I were the only ones who were able to translate. They treat people like literal slaves. Keeping us locked in an area & forcing us to work. Be highly cautious and don’t fly with this trash airline.
